Welcome! As you can see, the North Platte R-1 website is up and running! We have been working internally for the past few months to design the website and post information to it. We will be making additions over the course of the next several weeks and months as the site is truly a work in progress.

We will be putting awards, honor rolls, and stories on the site. We will be putting photographs of the many happenings in the district on the site as well. We plan not to put names and faces together. As a patron of the school district with a child in the school system, you have a choice of whether you want your child's photograph and/or name on the site. If you would like for your child's name or photograph NOT to appear on this site, please contact the building principal where your child attends school: Mr. Ron Green, principal at the high school, at (816)450-3344 extension 222, Mr. Roger Giger, principal at the junior high school, at (816)450-3350 extension 251; Mrs. Cathy Boyd, principal at the intermediate school, at (816)790-3622; or/and Mrs. Cathie Hubble, principal at the elementary school, at (816)280-3422. Unless we hear from you, we will place school appropriate information and photographs on the site which might include information or photographs of your child or children.

One of the reasons we chose the SOCS network of websites was because the site itself is very dynamic; in other words, it has the ability to change... a lot!  While the site won't be a daily newspaper, by any means, it is certainly our goal to keep the content fresh and exciting in an effort to entice you to return often.
