NORTH PLATTE FOUNDATION

Putting our youth first by investing in their future!

January 31, 2007

Our Purpose

The purposes for which the Foundation was organized are to receive, manage, and distribute funds donated or bequeathed to the Foundation for post high school education scholarships, both collegiate and vocational.

Our Representation

To insure that the community is well represented, the Foundation board consists of the school board president, one other school board member, the past president of the North Platte CTA, the high school counselor, four community residents, and a representative of the financial institution where the Foundation funds are deposited.

Our History

The North Platte Foundation was organized in 1994 and was incorporated in 1995 as a not-for-profit Missouri Corporation. In 1996, it received tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, which means all contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible.
