A Community for Learning

       How proud we are that the North Platte R-I School District has repeatedly been recognized for Distinction in Performance!  This has been possible through hard work, cooperation, and the support of students, parents, patrons, local businesses, and staff.  

        In an effort to assure that all students have the best opportunities to learn, leadership teams have been selected to guide and direct professional development activities and procedures to meet the needs of all of our students. Vertical and horizontal teams have been established, and instructors have shared methods and strategies.  This entire process has been positive and enabled teachers to support each other and work together toward shared goals and visions. 

        Most importantly, these processes have had positive results for our pupils.  Student assistance teams, fine-tuned lesson delivery systems, and improved monitoring of each individual's progress have been incorporated to make what has been good even better. We are very proud of the steps that our school district has taken to assure that we are preparing today's students for tomorrow's challenges.
