Counselor’s Corner
- There will be a SENIOR MEETING during seminar September 21.
- On Wednesday Sept. 22, the juniors, (and interested seniors) will head over to Plattsburg High School to attend the College/Career Fair. More information to follow.
- Juniors – The PSAT will be offered here on October 13th. The PSAT is the preliminary SAT. Students who take the PSAT will be entered in the 2012 competition for National Merit Scholarship Program recognition and scholarships. The cost to take the test is $13.00. Once you have paid, you will be given the Official Student Guide with practice tests.
• Juniors – We will be doing the ASVAB exam on Tuesday the 14th, and then Thursday the 17th. Juniors with last names A – Heese will have the exam on Tuesday, Hill – Z will test Thursday. The exam will be from 8:15 to 11:15, and will be in the library. Check in with your first hour teacher before you report to the library.
• ACT – The ACT Organization is limiting the amount of paper mail-in registrations they give to schools. They are encouraging all students to register on-line. The test center and college codes are no longer listed on the mail-in packets. I have online guides.
