Musical Performances Rescheduled

by Hayleigh Albers

February 08, 2010

Due to recent weather and scheduling, the musical has been rescheduled to March 12 and 13.

Romance, friendship, family and sword fighting fill the scenes of the musical Little Women. The students have been practicing since October, learning the lines, music, blocking and choreography. Now only three weeks are left of practices, and then the show will begin.

"I feel practices have been productive," co-director Kristen Walker said. "We are moving forward at a pace that is going to get us prepared right on time."

Auditions were held on October 5 and 6. The students received their music in November so they could memorize and perfect. The characters were cast a short time later.
