RECYCLING PROGRAM
North Platte has arranged with Deffenbaugh Industries to provide a recycling container on the campus of the North Platte High School. The recycling container is located inside the gates of the northern parking area just east of the football announcer's booth. The gates will be open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A glass recycling container is now also in place. Please review the list of accepted items: Recycling Program.
Newspapers, magazines, catalogs and office paper, including shredded paper, may still be placed in the Abitibi Paper Recycling container, which is located outside of the gates. Please do not place cardboard in the Abitibi container. Cardboard may be placed in the Deffenbaugh recycling container. Please do not leave items on the ground near the recycling containers or refuse dumpsters.
The National Honor Society will be available to assist you with your recycling one Saturday per month (excluding December) from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. The dates are: November 19, January 14, February 25, March 24, April 21, and May 12.
