North Platte Approved To Provide Free Meal Program

North Platte Approved to Provide Free Meal Program
We are happy to announce that the North Platte R-I School District has been approved to provide free lunch and breakfast Monday through Friday for all children 18 and under in the district starting September 21 through December or until the federal program funding has been depleted. This will apply to in-person students, Panther Online students, and all other children who are not enrolled in our district but live within our district boundaries. Please contact Sondra Stubbs at to order meals and set up pick up times if you are not an in-person student.
The free breakfast and lunches will be the standard school meals and will not include a la carte items. There is no application or forms to fill out for students to become eligible other than we need children not in school day attendance to contact Sondra to order meals, as described above.
The North Platte R-I School District complies with all federal and state laws prohibiting discrimination, including Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1974 and the American Disabilities Act (ADA). It is the policy of the school district that no person, on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or handicap, shall be discriminated against in employment, educational programs and activities or admissions. Inquiries or complaints concerning the North Platte R-I School District’s compliance with the regulations implementing Title II, Title VI, Title IX, Section 504 or the American Disabilities Act (ADA) may be directed to: Superintendent Office, North Platte R-I School District, 212 W. 6th Street, Dearborn, MO 64439.
