North Platte is excited to begin a girls and boys golf program for the 2026-2027 school year! Coach Cook and some athletes were able to get a few swings in this week!

Many other projects are happening around the North Platte campuses this summer as well! Here are just a few including a new paint scheme in the JH hallways, a remodel of the HS bathrooms, new flooring in the HS office, and some weight equipment upgrades.

The concession stand and bathroom project from Proposition K.I.D.S. is underway. The project is estimated to be completed before the first day of school.

The new scoreboard has been installed! A special thank you to Platte County Parks and Recreation for providing a grant to partially fund the purchase of the new scoreboard!

The district roofing projects from Proposition K.I.D.S. are in full swing! The projects are scheduled to be completed in the next couple weeks!

The district HVAC project from Proposition K.I.D.S. is moving along well! The projects in both the high school and elementary are scheduled to be completed before the first day of school on August 24th.

The football field and track project has made great progress this summer! The project remains on schedule with a projected September 15th completion date! It has been fun to see the transformation unfold!

The new North Platte Pre-School program, Panther Cubs, is set to begin this year! Continuing work is being done this summer including adding a new playground area as well as new carpets in the Pre-School and Kindergarten classrooms!
